I am currently using Electronic Health Records (EHRs) to examine and compare disparities in respiratory virus outcomes through an OpenSAFELY Project.

Methods for EHR Research

I have worked closely with members of the OpenSAFELY team on best practices around codelist construction, and have worked closely with clinicians on computable phenotypes for identifying patients. Both are necessary steps for analysing EHRs.

Vaccine Modelling

Using routinely collected data to model vaccine related data

I am interested in studying vaccine uptake and effectiveness, as well as the impact of vaccine uptake on existing burden of respiratory viruses. One of my current pre-prints I have worked on uses Electronic Health Records (EHRs) to perform vaccine-effectiveness studies. I am also currently working on modelling maternal immunisation uptake across England using EHR data.

Social Mobility Data

Using publicly available mobility data to predict contacts

Using mobility data collected from Google maps data I worked to determine how predicitive this was of contacts during the COVID-19 pandemic.
